Pawleys Island Wild Life Part 2

There's another side of Pawley's Island wild life we enjoyed last week. Sis and I had family down from Indiana. And we also invited good friends to share the good times. I don't have any pix of our Thursday night fish fry (we caught over 61 fish which Cinder fried to perfection) but here's a shot of Wayne going for the bait.



I also was lax on camera duty for the apres-dinner sing-a-long, featuring my cousins Dave & Jane (and sometimes Susan) on guitar. They were a lot better players than we were singers...as you can hear by visiting Elaine's post. We had a wild old time, fueled by our love for the ocean, music and libations that included wine, beer and Cosmos. Some of us were moving a little slower than usual on Friday but none of us suffered too long. And it wasn't long before we were back in "toasting mode". (hey, this was vacation afterall!)

Spirits were good on Saturday too. On the southernmost tip of Pawleys we celebrated a very special photo shoot. (I'm sure Elaine will tell you all about it soon.) Inbetween "set changes" she raised a glass of white.


Sister Cinder and cousin Jane also enjoyed a break, raising glasses of...whatever.


As did, Kit & Augie Mitra. Another studio artist at Clayworks, Kit just happened to be on vacation the same time we were. Happy coincidence? (Kit did have a wine glass but hers was filled with sand & water. She was set designer for the shoot.)

We drew more than a few curious glances that afternoon. But we didn't draw the multitude that "others" did the day before.
