On the way home from work I stopped in at Clayworks to see if the speckled brownstone bowls I glazed last Thursday were fired. They were waiting for me on the shelf. This one I liked. Though the black glaze ran along the rim, I still liked it. (Yeah, I know it sort of has a basketball look to it. Subliminal March Madness maybe?) The stamp is a favourite of mine, though I'm working on more of those during this downtime between classes.

Tomorrow I'll be helping unload the gas kiln at Clayworks -- always fun for me. To make it even better, Greg's advanced students will do their raku firing (which was rained out last week.) I look forward to both events.
Have a pleasant Tuesday (late) Afternoon.

Interesting glaze. Love the design and the black rim. I have no idea why, but I didn`t see the B ball right off.
"Nights in White Satin" just checked and yup, it`s in the OLD tape rack. Now I have to dust it off and have a listen. Look out memory lane, I`m comin through.
*Warning Warning* Memory Lane has a powerful hold. Hope you enjoy the memories!
(Maybe the B ball thing came coz' I'm currently at 3rd place in a pool with some folks I do voice work for. I sure didn't count on the Wildcats triumph however. )
It`s a nice trip auditorially speaking. Visually it can be distressing! I saw a Pink Floyd thing on TV and the Eagles somewhere. Where have all the youngsters gone? Much time passing.
I find if I don't wear my reading glasses, it's not quite so distressing.
Nice musical twist at the end of your comment. Now I'll be humming that song for the rest of the day.
