He helped Donna, Angela, and the gals from Jen's class make brushes. From bamboo and thread. And contributions from deer, moose and elk. Plus GORILLA glue!

With all that fur in abundance, little wonder that things got a little hairy.

Ron also does a great Austin Powers imitation. And Fu Manchu. (It would have been a treat to see him do Frodo.)
Back at home, I took a pic of another porcelain bird I made last night. Not sure this one is as nice as the one that's firing in the bisque kiln tonight. But she might hold some promise.

Almost TGIF y'all! Have a wonderful weekend!

What a great flowing shape. Very sensitive and expressive design.
Thank you, LLS. You are talking about the bird, right? Not Ron? ;) Not sure where I'm going with these but they seem to want "to be." Forgot to mention -- when you asked -- that they are rather small, and fit nicely in the palm of my hand.
Ah, a value lesson. The thought of Ron striking a sensitive or expressive pose with that arm pit is a bit disturbing.
I'm going to have get after that Ron Philbeck for just goofing off in my class!!!
Does this mean when I take on Ron's tuesday night class I'm going to have put elk hair under my arms as well???
( Just kidding...I hope they saved some brushes for me!!!) Jen
We can fix you up with elk or moose or deer Wwould you prefer tail, back or belly? ;)
Seriously, I'm sure they saved you some brushes. Think they made over 40 or so.
