Party!

Tonight was the end of our Handbuilding Class. Class always ends with a Raku Firing/Potluck Party, and tonight was one of the best! Three classes were in attendance. There was much food, much fun & fine creative magic! I didn't have anything ready to raku, but I always relish the experience.

I still have the smell of smoke in my hair & I love it. The baby below will be opened in the morning and I'll be there. I've never helped to unload a gas kiln before. In fact, I've never been there to see one opened, so it will be an experience! Plus I have 17 (18?) pieces inside the gas kiln. I'm hoping at least one will turn out to be something special.



Check back tomorrow night & see if I got lucky.
