The Flock has grown

With another barrel firing in the offing - hopefully on July 12th - I've been working on more pieces. They all made it through the ^010 bisque. There are a few pendants to play around with, a couple of thrown & altered pieces, but mostly the flock of birds.



It's grown a good bit since a previous post.

Some sport a coat of Elaine's special blend of terra sig. Some don't.

I can't wait to see them take wing after the barrels' fire.

Speaking of birds, I bought this birdhouse, made by Adrienne Dellinger, at the last Clayworks sale. It remained unoccupied for several weeks. But we noticed a change in that status just yesterday.



My money's on those babies hatching before their clay counterparts leave the nest.
