(Even as I type, there's a guy from the city outside, stabbing some sort of contraption into the ground in our backyard. I suspect it's something akin to a septic tank divining rod, since we need a permit from the city before we can have our drain field checked for broken tiles. ) It'll be a laundromat kind of weekend for sure. But that's okay. It's Friday! And I have mucho coinage in the jar above the fridge to operate multiple washers and dryers.
I've never been to a laundromat before (shocking, I know) but I've been told by folks in the know that lots of coins and a good book are recommended. I've got the book covered too --- "The Cave Painters" by Gregory Curtis.

I'm halfway through this paperback...this siren's song. There's not enough coinage in the jar atop the fridge, but I'm ready to book a flight to Southern France. I can never see the original cave art at Lascaux or Chauvet. These caves have been sealed off to the public for years. But at Font de Gaume, visitors can still enter the real cave...feel the dampness, hear the water seeping...and experience paintings created over 19,000 years ago. This tops my "bucket list."
Fridays are movie nights at Storybrook. Tonight Fred & I will watch "The Hoax"... a "biographical drama that's chock full of 1970s hairdos and based on a true story--and that's no lie."
Tomorrow I spend happy hours at Clayworks.
This Friday ends the week on a good note. And the proof is right outside the back door.

Spring is just around the corner. Chinese take-out has just arrived. Bon appetit! And Happy Weekend to all!

Becky, I love Chinese in the little leak proof boxes. Your flowers look great, must be nice to be able to grow something bsides cacti and tumble weed. I remember going to laundromats when I was traveling. Interesting places! I had a freind back in St. Louis owned one. Nice little money maker if you can do your own repairs.
Our boxes weren't leak proof unfortunately. But the containers that the food came in might be useful for mold making. ^^ I have so much stuff around here that "might" make a good mold. Guess I'd better get busy, huh?
