At Clayworks, when you can't be there for the opening of the gas kiln, it's wonderful when your friends are! I had high hopes for my small flock of birds in this firing. And worries. Because the glaze on my last flock ran all over the kiln shelves. (I know what happened but am too embarrassed to admit it here.) So it was wonderful to receive an email at work from my good friend, Amy. Amy helped unload the kiln and very kindly took some pix of the flock. They turned out exactly as I'd hoped.

With a sale or two coming up next month, I'm trying to plump up my inventory. These Oribe birdlets will help. Thanks to Amy for her thoughtful gesture & her photo. Her yunomi turned out beautifully too. You'll find pix of her wonderful results
here.
